Amy Gibson came by the other day. She is in the middle of a creative adventure. http://www.amygibsonprojects.com/bio.html
She holds a Diploma of Arts in Classical Dance and has now studied in Paris with Philippe Gaulier and in London with Keith Johnstone (author of ‘Impro’).
Keith Johnstone changed her life she told me.
“What did he offer I?” I asked.
“He taught me to manage fear,” she replied.
“When you are good at something, Amy,” Keith said, “Try something new.”
I love it.
DON’T STAY SAFE!
LEARN TO FAIL.
Keith Johnstone, you are a gem. Good luck Amy.
(We have started shooting the supermarket scenes for our feature film exercise ‘Rhyme and Reason’. Who knows what the outcome will be?
But, if we don’t go on the adventure we’ll never find out.)
