U.S. actor and director Brian Drillinger is visiting Melbourne. Brian is the Creative Director of Edgemar Centre for the Arts in Los Angeles, and has directed a show which included HELEN HUNT, JASON ALEXANDER and HILARY SWANK. Through The Rehearsal Room, Melbourne actors have the chance to learn from his skills and share his experience. His classes cover a broad range – including scene study, voice work and American accent classes. |

A GREAT SUMMER ACTING INTENSIVE
This Christmas holiday The Rehearsal Room is offering an invigorating summer acting workout. Five days exploring five different areas of performance.
Explore Monologues, Realism, Acting for the Close Up, Trusting the Impulse and Blocking. On the last day actors will shoot a scene movie style. The Rehearsal Room process on ‘speed’. Commences January 2nd 2007.
The small

FEATURE FILM Samantha Hird, who built her skills at The Rehearsal Room in 2004/5 is in an independant feature film "Terminal Bliss" which has its premier at ACMI cinemas at 8pm on Friday 13th October. Samantha has also had an appearance on "Scope" in a segment on water filtering. |
