NEW ACTING UP-DATE

The Rehearsal Room process is a living organic approach to acting that grows year by year. It has been two years since the Summary of the Rehearsal Room process has been up-dated and lots of new elements have been explored in that time. A NEW SUMMARY has now been published including all the new fundamental elements of this contemporary approach to acting.

Although the approaches have been adjusted the goals are still the same. The aim of Rehearsal Room process is to create an efficient, open process that generates real active listening and an exciting flexibility in delivering story.

ON-LINE ACTING COACHING
Another new development is the availability of on-line coaching. TIM KIRCHLER decided to attend the Round 3 weekend Audition Workshop in Melbourne even though he lives on the Gold Coast. He suggested making contact through Skype to enable an audition coaching session. The outcome was so successful that The Rehearsal Room is now offering online coaching for anyone who wants to make an appointment.

Webcam Value
It is essential that actors wishing to try this have a webcam so that they can be seen. Audio coaching without the visual component would not be as effective. This is a facility that is much more common as these days many computers already have a web cam built in to the system. (FOR MORE)

Rehearsal Room concepts are easily explained and the clarity of this approach to acting makes it perfect for the internet technology. Now actors dont have to come to Armadale for audition coaching they can do it from anywhere in the country or the world.

Explore Rehearsal Room Process
There will, no doubt, be many uses for the Skype approach to communication. Actors who want to find out about these Rehearsal Room techniques can do so from any place on the globe. ACTORS CAN NOW CHOSE to do a series of lessons on-line to gain a clear understanding of The Rehearsal Room process. Actors from around the world will be able to access this approach to acting that makes Stanislavskis remarkable concepts simple, practical and accessable. No matter where actors are they can discover these simple, practical tools to strong and believable performance. (Click here for more)

EXTRA SATURDAY CLASSES
Enrolments have been steadily increasing as the word of mouth about the effectiveness of the Rehearsal Room approach spreads amongst actors. Last term an extra Introductory Workshop had to be added to the weekend schedule to accommodate the increase in numbers. And a Saturday Afternoon Introductory Workshop is currently available for this term

A Rehearsal Room First
For the first time an evening Introductory class is being conducted in
a new Rehearsal Room venue in Richmond. This Wednesday evening class is being taught by John Higginson and is also full. John, who has been associated with The Rehearsal Room for a couple of decades, also runs the Voice Over Workshops.
