Rehearsal Room Process makes actors more flexible, more consistent and more efficient.

Because Rehearsal Room workshops clearly identify a performance process they improve the practical outcomes of actors choices. This enables the actor to identify and remedy problems efficiently and effectively. The Rehearsal Room process makes actors better auditioners and therefore improves the chances of employment.

This workshop explores the fundamentals of good performance process. It is a clear and simple view of the Stanislavski approach, useful both as a refresher for the experienced actor or those with little experience.

Its particular focus is television but its application is universal. It explores - how to create a complex character, identifying subtext, labelling subtext, playing subtext, building trust, active listening, defeating tension, how to play surprises, how to prepare for a take and what the camera really sees - plus much more.
