Achieving the Balance - It is often difficult for an actor to decide how “free” a performance should be. What is too much or too little? When does planning become restricting? Or when should "conscious' thought give way to the "sub-conscious"? This fascinating session explores the most difficult task facing any creative person. That is - the challenge of balancing the intuitive and rational thought processes.

Trusting the Impulses - Once a balance is achieved how much do you trust the impulses that are now being freely generated. What is 'big' and what is 'small' and when do you use them? How 'BIG' can you go? What about the crying scene? Separating the actor's impulses from the character's impulses. Can you control impulses?
