MONOLOGUE WORKSHOP DATES:
Saturday 5th July 2014 Monologues are challenging for the actor. Actors feel pressured by the quantity of words they have to get through and the fact that they are the only one speaking. Consequently, they prepare excessively and feel driven to make the performance really interesting. These kinds of pressures are death to any performance. Monologues are no different to any other scene. Once a simple process is put in place they become manageable and fun. Overcome the fear. Understand the practicalities of monologue stucture and how to implement them.
