Home and Away
Actor PAUL O'BRIEN has just started a three-year contract with Home & Away. His first location shoot was last Wednesday. Paul attended The Rehearsal Room in 2003 and has been working at building his skills since then. Besides performing in plays and short films he has also worked as a stand-up comedian. Paul is intending to apply Rehearsal Room process to his Home and Away adventure so it will be interesting to talk to him in a month or two to see how its all going. Congratulations, Paul.

RACHEL BICKERTON, ALINTA CHIDZEY & GLEN QUINN FROM "MUMMA MIA"

Weekday Workshop An unusual weekday workshop ended on Friday. Unable to attend evening classes because of their current performance commitments three of the cast of "Mamma Mia" attended The Rehearsal Room for 10 Friday afternoons to complete the Introductory Workshop. Other actors joined the group including Kerstin King who is now in Japan with “We Will Rock You”.

MATT FITZPATRICK who has just been awarded a RMIT University scholarship to study Professional Media also joined the group. Its possible that other weekday Rehearsal Room workshops could be available for actors who are committed to night work.

SUNDAY ADVANCED WORKSHOP starts 12th June. This workshop is focused on improving active listening skills.

$10 night
Another chance to stretch those acting muscles - WEDNESDAY 29TH JUNE. Actors bring a scene or monologue and give it an airing. The first Ten Dollar Night was great fun and a big success. This is the second Ten Dollar Night at The Rehearsal Room this year and places will fill quickly if last time is any guide. The Ten Dollar Night is open to any actor. Its everywhere, ITS EVERYWHERE!!!! Pink is all the rage at the moment. Rehearsal Room actor TUILYN LIM was married to Ben Shannon on Saturday 28th May while in Thursdays Introductory

workshop DOMENICA VARVEN and BILLY SMEDLEY compare pinks in a very convivial way. A good colour to wear and a good colour to play. PINK OUT!

ELIZABETH SHINGLETON's Baker's Delight TVC is on air at the moment. Have you spotted it? She's having an improvised chat to a couple of bakers at a football match...

Fresh Look for Website
The Rehearsal Room website has a new look and also some new functions. Actor and web designer PAUL LAVERACK has implemented the changes. Depending which page has been selected as the ‘favourite’ some regular Rehearsal Room users may need to NOW save the new home page address.
