A
Feature Film Role
ANNE
CORDINER has won a role in a Korean film to be directed by Park
Chan-wook. "He won the Grand Prix at Cannes last year (amongst
other accolades) and is considered to be pretty hot property
in Korea - so I am thrilled," she said. ANNE left for Seoul
on the 18th January for a brief shoot. There's a further shoot
in Cooma in February and then another in Korea in March. It sounds
fun. Congratulations, Anne.

A
Good Result
KENTARO
HARA has picked up a small guest role on Neighbours which will
be on air in May. KENTARO has previously completed all levels
of Rehearsal Room workshops and on this occasion decided to have
some coaching prior to attending his audition. Although he was
very well prepared he found that audition coaching significantly
broadened the options he could play. As a result he went to the
audition with three completely different versions of the character.
The confidence
with which KENTARO attended the Neighbours audition was very
much connected to the experience of having audition coaching.
He also found reading the interview with Neighbours actors Jacquie
Woodburne and Alan Fletcher (which is available on The Rehearsal
Room website) helped clarify his expectations about what it would
be like on the Neighbours set.
